Abe Duque from winter 1996 when I stayed with him for 2 months to check out New York proper. It was quite amazing how cold it actually can get in New York. Its a weird kind of cold. Less miserable than Scotland and a sharper, bone numbing feeling. Hollis in Queens where Abes' Cave Super Studios are is where I think of home in New York. General Tsos' chicken from the Foo-On is simply quality.
